THE WOMENS BJJ CLASS AIMS TO CREATE AN EXCLUSIVE TRAINING ENVIRONMENT TO ENCOURAGE MORE WOMEN TO TRAIN BJJ AND LEARN ABOUT THE MANY BENEFITS OF THIS RELATIVELY NEW MARTIAL ART/SPORT.

CLASSES CONSIST OF A WARMUP ROUTINE THAT INVOLVES KEY MOVEMENTS IN BJJ THAT AIM TO DEVELOP OVERALL FITNESS AND UNDERSTANDING OF TECHNIQUES.

SELF-DEFENCE ASPECTS ARE INCLUDED AS STATISTICALLY MOST ATTACKS ON WOMEN INVOLVE GRABBING HOLD OF OR GRAPPLING TO THE GROUND BY A LARGER  OPPONENT MAKING BJJ AN EXCELLENT MARTIAL ART FOR-SELF DEFENCE SITUATIONS.
